After buying residential properties in the 1980s on behalf of the University of Tasmania’s Student Union when at uni in Hobart he decided on a career in property. Working for Roberts in Burnie he sold 103 properties in 22 months at the age of 21.

Moving to Canberra to study Valuation, he ventured into commercial property, and within two years he was Canberra’s leading industrial agent.

Headhunted to head up Colliers industrial department in Brisbane, he spent a number of years working for Dept of Housing (head of the property department, 45 staff), JLL and McDonalds where he was responsible for site acquisition and obtaining all development approvals opening 35 stores across Qld, NT and northern NSW.

Setting up his own business he went on to manage shopping centres and pre-leased over 75 shopping centres and showroom complexes. He has owned valuation and shopping centre management businesses as well as real estate agencies.

Recent experience in the Hobart market where he saw first-hand deficiencies in market knowledge and service has lead him to establish Lord Land.
